Burberry: Spring 2013

Burberry is always one of the shows I look forward to most come Men's Fashion Week, which is why I'm posting it first for my spring runway posts. I have to say, the show didn't wow me this season like it has in the past but there are some pieces that I love. There are two major themes here:

I was a little shocked, (not in a good way) but maybe I just need some time to warm up  to a tin-foil trench. I do prefer the look in a more subtle way, such as  a metallic silk shirt to update the suit. I'll be interested to come back to these images in a few weeks and see how I'm feeling about it then.

Scarf Print
This reminds me very much of Prada. I am loving how the print updates classic shapes like the trench and the bomber. The colors are really great (a relief from all the brights) and the mix of patterns/colors in the styling is fresh. Two favorite things going on here: the silk tunic under a thinker coat and the printed bomber in burgundy I have starred in the corner.

You all can look forward to more Spring 2013 on here every thursday.

Marc Jacobs + South Park

This is one of those items that you either hate or have to have. I think its really ugly but part of me still wants to get it for my odd collection of various fashion items. What do you guys think, will you be getting one? I imagine it will sell out pretty fast, so if you want in you better get one fast.

In the Rain

Of course it was raining the only day I could do an outfit post this week! Needless to say, it was a quick one. It had been some time since these boots made it out of the house so they were happy to get out and play in the rain. Pretty straight forward.
Next week will be more exciting, I promise!

Coach James Nares Tote

I was finally able to snag one of the pieces of the latest Coach collaboration! I blogged about it last HERE. Most of the pieces of this limited collection are sold out already, but I was lucky enough to find the color I wanted in a store in Las Vegas. This tote is going to be perfect for summer adventures, so I'm obviously excited for the beautiful weather to come!
Here are a few pictures of my new bag.

Wearing More Purple

I got these great nubuck wingtips in grape last week because Cole Haan just added a bunch of styles to their sale. I had been wanting another pair since I love my yellow ones that I got back in March. You can find the shoes HERE and shop the rest of the sale at

Yayoi Kusama + Louis Vuitton Collaboration

The anticipation builds...

We still have no prices, but these images floating around the web have us salivating for spotted treasures. I picked out some of my favorites from the images that I've seen so far. I'm really digging the yellow/black combo which I think the boys could get away with too. Who said girls get to have all the polka dot fun?

There are many scarf designs coming, but these two below are my favorite.

All Photos are from In LVoe with Louis Vuitton where you can find much more from the collection.

Newness in My Closet

Can we please take a moment to celebrate that I have finally found the leather biker jacket that I have been looking for? After furiously searching for months, I decided to give it a rest and it finally fell in my lap... well, sort of. Anyways, I absolutely love it and it is already becoming a staple piece.

I also scored these Awesome oxfords during a Cole Haan warehouse sale a few weeks ago and let me just say, it was love at first sight! They were like nothing I've ever seen before so I had to order them right away. Best impulse purchase of the year.

This outfit was all about my new things, so kept it simple with a white tee and khaki denim pants, rolled up to show some ankle. Since these shoes are too cool to be tied, I just let them do their thing. That's all.
